Ingrain adds SCA co-founder and first president Joel Walls to management team

Ingrain, the oil and gas industry's fastest growing digital rock physics lab, has added Dr. Joel Walls to its management team as the company's new Director of Technical Resources for Unconventional Reservoirs. He will be responsible for developing and commercializing services focused on shale and other unconventional reservoirs.

Walls is a geophysicist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the research, development, launch and sale of advanced technology products and services for oil and gas exploration and production. He comes to Ingrain with a long and distinguished career in the oil industry, having been involved in the successful formation of several start-up companies focusing on core analysis, rock physics and geophysics. He was also the co-founder and first president of the Society of Core Analysts (SCA) and is a member of the SEG, SPE and SPWLA.

Dr. Walls holds an M.S. and Ph.D. in geophysics from Stanford University and a B.S. in physics from Texas A&M University, Commerce.
