Synthetic proppant Oxball could improve fracturing process

The proppant, named Oxball, is being manufactured by Oxane Materials, Inc., in the Houston-based company's Van Buren, Arkansas plant. Oxane president Chris Coker, while enthusiastic about the product's possibilities, is more cautious in his estimates of the possible production increases. The article is found on mywesttexas.com .
