Finding Petroleum's "New Technologies for Accessing, Listening to, and Producing From, Your Reservoir" Conference

Greg Herrera, partner in Energy Ventures' Aberdeen Office will speak at Finding Petroleum's "New Technologies for Accessing, Listening to, and Producing From, Your Reservoir" conference on January 24 in Aberdeen. Relevance of Computational Rock Physics

A technical paper by Ingrain team members was published in the Society of Exploration Geophysicists' November 11, 2011 issue of Geophysics. The paper, titled "Relevance of Computational Rock Physics," concludes that computational rock physics using modern imaging and computing techniques opens a new avenue to quantify and understand rock. Michael Lambert, president and COO of Wireless Seismic , presented "Wireless Progresses" at Finding Petroleum's Total 3D Seismic Onshore - A Disruptive Transition forum. Wireless Seismic has introduced a solution to the marketplace that both eliminates cables while preserving the real-time nature of the seismic data collection, and doing so with an architecture that is designed to scale-up to very high channel count systems.
